Steve Rotzin has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Steve began their career in 1986 as a Customer Service Representative at Nordstrom. Steve then went on to found Aria Sonics, a bicycle helmet company, where they managed all aspects of the business before selling it to a competing manufacturer.

After that, Rotzin worked as the Owner of Scanlab 3D, a company specializing in 3D laser scanning and image capture for the visual graphics and motion picture industry. Steve later joined Bell Sports as a Senior Product Manager, where they successfully managed the Vistalite division and increased revenues.

Rotzin then took up various roles at Simpson Strong-Tie, starting with Internal Auditor, where they audited all company processes as part of the ISO certification. Steve then served as the Market Research Manager and New Product Manager, responsible for managing the company's product value and overseeing the new product process. Later, Rotzin assumed the position of Acquisitions Integration Manager, managing pre and post-acquisition processes and implementing an acquisition portal.

Steve Rotzin pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double option in Finance and Managerial Economics from California State University - East Bay between 1986 and 1989. Steve then went on to study Decision Sciences at the University of San Francisco from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they attended Monterey Peninsula College from 1983 to 1985. Steve completed their secondary education at Salinas High School from 1979 to 1983. In 2016, they enrolled as a JD candidate at John F. Kennedy University, where they studied Law until 2019. In addition to their formal education, Steve obtained a Certificate of Training in Mediation from the Congress of Neutrals in 2016.
