Antonio Bavasso

Antonio Bavasso is a Partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, leading the European Antitrust & Foreign Investment team with a focus on London and Brussels since February 2021. Antonio holds dual qualifications in the UK and Italy and has experience practicing in San Francisco. Additionally, Antonio is a co-founder and Executive Director of the Jevons Institute for Competition Law and Economics and serves as a Visiting Professor at UCL's Faculty of Laws. Prior to their current role, Antonio spent over two decades as a Partner at Allen & Overy, where Antonio co-headed the Global Antitrust practice. Antonio obtained a PhD in Law from UCL and a JD in Law from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
