Clement Cheung

Clement Cheung is an Associate specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP since August 2025. Previously, Clement served as an Associate in Corporate and M&A at Freshfields from August 2021 to June 2025 and also held a role as a Trainee Solicitor, gaining experience in corporate matters, dispute resolution, and finance across multiple locations including Hong Kong, London, and Shanghai. In addition, Clement worked as a Consultant in Group Legal M&A at EQT Group for a brief period in late 2024. Academically, Clement holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) and a UCL-HKU Dual Degree in Law from The University of Hong Kong, complemented by summer training in German and European Law at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and an IB Diploma from Sha Tin College.
