Sorcha Harrison

Sorcha Harrison is an experienced quality management professional currently serving as Group Quality Manager and Quality Officer at Sims IVF since January 2022, focusing on the compliance of Tissues and Cells with relevant directives and legislation. Prior to this role, Sorcha worked at Charles River Laboratories from September 2018 to December 2021 as a Senior Scientific Associate and study director, ensuring GLP compliance in pre-clinical safety studies. Earlier experience includes research positions at The University of Edinburgh and Teagasc, where skills in microbiology and molecular diagnostics were developed. Sorcha holds a Master's by Research in Infectious Diseases from The University of Edinburgh and both a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Bio-molecular Science and a Bachelor’s degree (Ord) in Biosciences from Technological University Dublin.
