Sophia Runau

Sophia Runau is an experienced professional in lifecycle engineering and sustainability, currently serving as Lifecycle Engineering Manager at Sims Lifecycle Services since October 2021, following a role as Lifecycle Engineer. Previously, Sophia worked as a Sustainability Engineer at Sims Metal, where responsibilities included leading the publication of the FY21 Sustainability Report and managing GHG inventory, among other tasks. Additional experience includes a placement at Accord Healthcare as an EHS advisor intern focused on ISO14001 implementation and voluntary work at Unite Students as a Positive Impact Consultant. Sophia holds a Master of Science in Clean Technology from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
