Rock de Vocht

Rock de Vocht is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Since April 2018, Rock has served as Chief Scientific Officer and co-Founder at SimSage Ltd., overseeing the development of the company's innovative AI roadmap. Prior to this role, Rock worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and as an NLP Specialist at Booktrack. Earlier experience includes working as a DevOps contractor at Verifone and co-founding Syl Limited, where Rock contributed to the development of a semantic search engine and significant IP in big data and natural language processing. Rock's career began at Datacom as a Senior Solutions Architect after earning a Master of Science in Computer Science specializing in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science with honours in Computer Science from The University of Auckland.
