Dave Whipps

As Lead Developer and Technical Director, Dave splits his time between writing code and managing the development of their growing suite of software products and online software consulting projects. Dave joined the former parent company, Imaginova in January 2001 as a junior software developer and became lead software developer in 2006.

He has experience with an alphabet-soup of technologies and platforms ranging from desktop application development, mobile, with a more recent focus on modern web application technologies. Previously, Dave worked for the Canadian Department of National Defence at their optical satellite tracking facility (SSRAL) at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston. Dave holds a degree in Astrophysics from Queen's University, Kingston, Canada.
