Frederico Martins

Frederico Martins has a diverse work experience in the fields of scientific lead, pharmaceutical modeling, and research. Frederico has worked as a Scientific Lead at Simulations Plus, Inc., where they supported marketing and sales efforts in Latin America while also advising on business development and strategic directions. Frederico also worked as a Volunteer Professor at Universidade Estadual de Maringá, where they co-supervised a Ph.D. student. Additionally, they served as an Associate Director PBPK and Senior Consultant at esqLABS GmbH, conducting physiological modeling and providing leadership in collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior to that, they were a Pharmacometrics Leader at Galapagos, designing and implementing pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models. Frederico also worked as a Research Scientist at Certara and as a Research Fellow at Universidade Federal de Goiás.

Frederico Martins completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Universidade Federal de Goiás from 2005 to 2010. Frederico then pursued a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same university from 2010 to 2012. Frederico continued their education at USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Dermatology and Drug Discovery from 2012 to 2016. Frederico also completed an internship for their PhD at the University of Florida from 2014 to 2015. In 2023, Frederico obtained a specialization in Strategic Leadership and Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Information Sciences. Frederico also holds multiple additional certifications in various subjects related to business and management.
