Jeremy Jones

Principal Scientist at Simulations Plus

Jeremy Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of oncology. Jeremy is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Simulations Plus, Inc. Since 2019, they have also been the President of Jones Scientific Consulting, where they advise clients on oncology projects, including ctDNA platform and product development, target evaluation, and talent recruitment. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Director of Oncology at Terray Therapeutics, where they established the biology lab and led the selection and development of oncology targets. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Kiralu Therapeutics, a company they formed to develop PPAR gamma antagonists for the treatment of bladder and prostate cancers. Before venturing into the industry, they worked as an Assistant/Associate Professor at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center from 2010 to 2019, where they focused on translational research in Urologic Oncology, particularly in developing novel androgen receptor inhibitors for prostate cancers. Jeremy began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF from 2005 to 2010, where they studied the role of the androgen receptor in prostate cancer. Jeremy Jones has an impressive background in oncology research and has made significant contributions in the field.

Jeremy Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology from Penn State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Jeremy continued their education at Stanford University, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microbiology and Immunology from 2000 to 2005.
