Akin Wilks

Akin Wilks is a System Administrator at SimVentions, specializing in managing Windows, Linux, and AWS Cloud Services, while utilizing ACAS Nessus for vulnerability scanning. Prior to this role, Akin served as a SkillBridge Intern at John Deere, focusing on technical design, development, and testing of software, including the automation of AWS Timeout Lambda. Akin's experience also includes serving as an Operational Specialist in the U.S. Coast Guard, where responsibilities involved maintaining maritime domain awareness and reporting maritime incidents. Akin is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations at the University of Maryland Global Campus, building on a bachelor's degree in Computer Networks and Cyber Security from the same institution.
