Aakash Kumar is currently serving as the Principal at Sindh Institute of Medical Allied Science. Prior to this, Aakash worked as a Lecturer at Taqwa Institute of Physiotherapy Health Sciences. Aakash also has experience as a Lab Technologist at SINA Health, Education & Welfare Trust, and as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at The Indus Hospital. Aakash holds a Master's degree from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.

SINA is a PCP certified registered not-for-profit organization that provides primary healthcare services in urban slums of Karachi. We have a network of 38 locations. These together cater to the needs of approximately 500,000 healthcare seekers annually. Patients at SINA are classified into 3 categories- Zakat eligible, Non-Zakat and Welfare, the funding for which is covered by Zakat and General donations made by our generous supporters.
