Muhammad Atif Nisar has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Muhammad Atif currently works as a Medical Quality Assurance Officer (Chief Medical Auditor) at SINA Health, Education & Welfare Trust, where they ensure that health facilities are provided according to international guidelines. Muhammad Atif also works as a family physician in different clinics of the organization. Additionally, Muhammad Atif Nisar is a Lecturer at Indus College of Family Medicine and Public Health (ICFMPH), where they supervise trainees at PHC Clinics of SINA Clinics.

Prior to their current position, Muhammad Atif Nisar worked as a Family Physician at a Primary Healthcare Center in Saudi Arabia, where they managed general OPD cases, emergency cases, and vaccinations. Muhammad Atif also worked as a Family Physician at Babaza Foundation Trust in Karachi, where they provided primary healthcare services and managed chronic diseases.

Muhammad Atif Nisar has experience working as a Senior Medical Officer at South City Hospital, where they dealt with various medical and surgical cases. Muhammad Atif also worked as a Medical Officer at Health LINE, PPTA Plant, providing medical facilities to a chemical plant. At the beginning of their career, they served as a Resident Doctor at Civil Hospital Karachi and as a House Officer at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

Muhammad Atif Nisar's education history begins with their completion of a Matriculation degree in Science from the Government Modern High School in Sukkur in 1992. Muhammad Atif then pursued an Intermediate degree in Pre-Medical from the Government Islamia College Sukkur in 1994. Later, Muhammad attended Jinnah Sindh Medical University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies in 2000. Following that, they furthered their education at the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan, where they earned a degree in Family Medicine (MCPS) in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Muhammad Atif Nisar has obtained various certifications to enhance their medical expertise. Muhammad Atif is certified as a Family and General Practice Physician by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and the Pakistan Medical Commission (Abolished in December 2022). Muhammad Atif has also completed the Flood Disaster Treatment - Master Class Certificate and the Internal Medicine Certification from The Aga Khan University Hospital in Pakistan. Muhammad is a member of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), the Saudi Council for Health Sciences (SCFHS), and the Central College of Family Physicians (CCFP). Furthermore, they have undergone postgraduate training for MCPS at the Civil Hospital Karachi and has completed a Psychiatric Certification Course at the Synapse Pakistan Neuroscience Institute.
