Essam Elsayed

Essam Elsayed is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing IT departments and leading strategic initiatives across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of IT at Sinai Cement Co. - Vicat Group since September 2019, Essam is responsible for formulating and implementing long-term strategic plans for efficient information processing and communication technologies. Previously, as the Senior Group Applications Manager at Middle East Glass Manufacturing Company, Essam restructured the IT application team to enhance organizational effectiveness. Through roles at LafargeHolcim, including EMEA IT Supply Chain Domain Manager and Country Head of IT, Essam managed substantial IT budgets and contributed to application strategy and development in the EMEA region. Essam's earlier experience includes key positions in IT consulting and project accounting, further solidifying expertise in financial and logistics applications. Essam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ain Shams University.
