Company’s plant located in North Sinai with 2 production lines and an annual capacity of 2.9 million tons of cement per annum. In 2003, the company increased its paid-in capital to LE 350 million through a strategic partnership with VICAT, an international group of companies and a French family-run business, became the main shareholder of Sinai Cement. VICAT was founded 165 years ago, after Louis Vicat invented artificial cement in 1817.
