Chris Whitcomb currently serves as the VP of Data Governance & Fabric Ops at Sinch since 2024. Previously, Whitcomb was the Senior Director of Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and Business Intelligence at Lumen Technologies from 2019 to 2023, where responsibilities included establishing an enterprise-wide data governance framework and managing a large corporate data warehouse. Before joining Lumen Technologies, Whitcomb held multiple senior roles at Citigroup from 2004 to August 2019, including Senior Director of Data Management, Reporting, and Business Intelligence for Retail & Small Business, and led initiatives to centralize data sources and enhance decision-making. Earlier career experience includes positions at Freddie Mac, where Whitcomb contributed significantly to the development of appraisal valuation models. Chris holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University.
