Erik Gilbertsson

Erik Gilbertsson is a software engineer at Sinch since March 2023, focusing on backend development of high throughput, scalable Spring Boot microservices for a messaging API, with responsibilities spanning development, testing, CI pipeline maintenance, and Kubernetes deployment on AWS. Previously, Erik held positions as an Associate Software Engineer at Telavox and completed a master thesis at Arm, working as a GPU System Test Intern on a Django web application. Erik has also served as a DevOps Engineer at Axiell Group, where the focus was on Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerization. Additional experience includes roles as a teaching assistant in Java programming and mentor for first-year engineering students at Lund University, as well as reception and security roles at Stockholms Sjukhem and Securitas Sverige AB. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Engineering Technologies from Lund University.
