Carlos Mahecha

Carlos Mahecha is an experienced media professional with over two decades in the broadcast industry. Currently serving as Executive Director at Sinclair Broadcast Group since October 2007, Carlos previously held roles as News Editor/Producer at WPTV Newschannel 5 from November 2000 to October 2007, and in TV Production/producer at WXEL from August 1999 to July 2007. Carlos holds a degree in Journalist Multimedia, Communication and Media Studies from City College Ft Lauderdale (1999 - 2001) and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (1997 - 1999).
