Derek Gebler is an experienced digital media technology leader with a 20-year track record in the industry. They served as a founding employee at Broadcast Interactive Media, where they led technical and product management teams through significant growth periods. In 2014, Derek founded Field59 Video, focusing on video solutions for broadcast and live events, and successfully sold the company to TownNews in 2018. Currently, as the Director of Innovation Labs Technology at Sinclair Broadcast Group, Derek is responsible for developing new ideas and workflows for implementation across the organization. They are also active in the entrepreneurial community, co-organizing 1 Million Cups Madison and serving on the Visual Communications Advisory Committee at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
