David Wilding

David Wilding has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. David served as the Head of Business at Sinclair Group for their Swansea Skoda, SEAT, and CUPRA divisions from February 2021. Prior to that, they were the Head of Business at Volkswagen Bridgend from January 2019 to February 2021.

David has a strong background in Volkswagen Group, where they held several roles. Notably, they served as the Regional Director North Service and Parts at Volkswagen UK from December 2012 to June 2015, where they managed the performance of 90 Volkswagen dealerships. David also held the position of National Retailer Used Car Manager from November 2009 to December 2012 and played a key role in launching the Approved used program Das WeltAuto.

David's career in the automotive industry began at Skoda UK, where they served as an Area Aftersales Manager from April 1999 to August 2002. Prior to that, they worked as a Training Consultant at The AA from September 1995 to 1999.

David Wilding attended South Wolds School from 1981 to 1988, where they obtained O and A levels. Additionally, in 1991 and 1992, they completed a post-graduate diploma in manufacturing engineering at Nottingham Trent University.
