Georgina Wellman

Georgina Wellman has over 20 years of professional experience in various roles. Georgina began their career in 1997 as a Sales Assistant at Burberrys Limited. In 1998, they moved to Dione as a Front Office, followed by Sales at Xerox in 1999. From 2001 to 2004, they worked at EuroFinance as a Sales Executive. In 2003, they joined Barnardo's as a Business Fundraiser. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Director at G257. In 2019, they became the Head of Partnerships at Encode.info, and in 2020 they were appointed Vice President of Business Development at Sine Wave Entertainment. During their time at The Economist, they were the Head of Training, Programme & Speaker Management (EuroFinance), and was a member of the management team responsible for running two of the key departments in the business, training & programming. Georgina led the team in delivering senior level finance speakers from multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions while also overseeing training course portfolio of over 50 live courses, e-learning and selling customised events.
