Benny Zheng

Benny Zheng currently serves as a Senior First Officer for Singapore Airlines, with experience on both the B787 and B737 aircraft since February 2021. Previously, Benny held roles as a First Officer and Second Officer at SilkAir from May 2017 to January 2021. Benny's aviation career began in earnest after completing a series of educational qualifications, including a Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating at L3 Airline Academy and an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Theory) from ST Aerospace Academy. Additionally, Benny holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from UNSW, as well as a Diploma in Chemical Process Technology from Singapore Polytechnic. Prior to entering the aviation sector, Benny worked as a Product Manager at M-Dec Enterprise Pte Ltd and undertook internships at M-Dec and Sunningdale Tech Ltd.
