Foo Chai Woo

Mr Foo joined Singapore Airlines in August 1995 as a Cadet Administrative Officer. He held positions in Reservations Services and Market Planning before being appointed Regional Marketing Manager South East Asia in March 1999. Mr Foo was posted overseas in 2000 and held positions in Japan, Pakistan and New Zealand.

Returning to Singapore in 2003, Mr Foo served as Senior Manager in Market Planning and Network Planning and was promoted as Vice-President Network Planning in July 2005. In September 2006, Mr Foo became General Manager India. He moved to the US as Regional Vice President Americas in November 2010.

Mr Foo returned to Singapore in May 2014 to take up the position of Divisional Vice President Sales & Marketing prior to his appointment as Chief Executive SilkAir in 2016.

Mr Foo holds a Masters of Science and a Bachelor of Science (Summa Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
