Dr. Susan Shaw serves as the elementary school deputy principal for fourth and fifth grade. She has thirty years experience working in schools in New Zealand, England, Turkey, US, Venezuela, and Singapore. Shaw joined Singapore American School in 2000 as a third grade teacher and then worked with gifted learners prior to becoming deputy principal.
Shaw holds a doctorate from the University of Southern California, a masters degree in educational leadership and a principal’s certificate from the College of New Jersey, and a bachelor of education from Canterbury University.
Originally from New Zealand, Shaw met and married her husband, Tiri, here in Singapore and they have three children.
