Jean Tan

Jean Tan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Foundation and the Chief Social Impact Officer of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), roles that highlight a commitment to enhancing corporate purpose and community engagement in Singapore. Prior to these positions, Jean was the Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore International Foundation, overseeing strategic management and execution of the Foundation's objectives. Jean's extensive experience also includes roles at the Ministry of Manpower as Director of Communications and Press Secretary, the Ministry of Information & the Arts as Deputy Director, and the Embassy of Singapore in Washington DC as First Secretary. Academically, Jean holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Linguistics, Sociology, and Economics from the National University of Singapore, and Master's degrees in Mass Communications and Linguistics from Syracuse University and the University of New England, respectively, along with executive education from the Chicago Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School.
