Herman Loh

Herman Loh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and economic development. Currently serving as Senior Vice-President and Head of multiple regions at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) since January 2019, Herman's leadership roles have encompassed responsibilities across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. Prior to EDB, Herman held key positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Singapore), including Deputy Director for Southeast Asia and Special Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs. Herman's career began at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore as an analyst. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Economics from University College London, as well as coursework in Elementary Japanese from Harvard Extension School.
