Hong Ying Tan

Hong Ying Tan is a Senior Associate in New Ventures at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) since August 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Chapter Director, Director of Projects, Project Leader, and Consultant at Conjunct Consulting from August 2021 to June 2023, as well as a Deals Strategy Intern at PwC’s Strategy Consulting Unit, Strategy&, for a brief period in December 2022 to January 2023. Hong Ying also served as a Case Team Assistant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from April 2022 to August 2022 and held internships in People Strategy at both TikTok and ByteDance from May 2021 to December 2021. Earlier in their career, Hong Ying was a Frank Anderson Scholar and President of the Yale-NUS Chapter at Global China Connection from August 2020 to July 2021. Hong Ying holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Yale-NUS College (2019-2023) and an International Baccalaureate from the School of the Arts Singapore (2013-2018).
