Kar Peo

Kar Peo is a distinguished academic and industry professional currently serving as the Programme Leader for ICT (Software Engineering) and an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology since May 2019. Previous experience includes roles as a Pathway Advisor at A*STAR, where involvement in the Pathway Advisory Programme occurred from September 2015 to August 2019, and positions at ST Engineering, where work as a Principal Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist took place from August 2017 to May 2019. Earlier, Kar Peo held roles at ST Electronics and the Ministry of Education, contributing to the Singapore International Mathematics Challenge in 2014. An extensive background in research is reflected in experiences at the Institute for Infocomm Research from May 2007 to August 2011. Academic credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, completed in 2007, and prior education at the National University of Singapore.
