Michael Tang

Michael Tang currently serves as the Head of Listing Compliance, Head of the Sustainable Development Office, and Head of Listing Policy & Product Admission at SGX RegCo, roles held since September 2017. In addition, Michael Tang is a Capital Markets Technical Committee Member at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and a member of the Sustainability Reference Group for the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), both positions taken on in 2023. Michael Tang also contributes as a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for Sustainability Education at the Singapore Institute of Technology and serves on the Management Committee of the Global Compact Network Singapore since November 2020. Furthermore, Michael Tang is an Advisory Board Member at the Centre for Governance and Sustainability at the National University of Singapore since November 2019. Prior to current roles, Michael Tang was Vice President at SGX from July 2008 to September 2017, with a background as a management associate and legal counsel. Michael Tang holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the National University of Singapore and attended Raffles Institution.
