Shehu Popoola-Taiwo is a prominent legal professional and maritime industry leader. Serving as the Chairman of Youngship Nigeria since February 2022, Popoola-Taiwo has been instrumental in promoting young talents within the maritime sector. As a Founding Partner at POPOOLA-TAIWO LP and the Founder of Court86, Popoola-Taiwo has established a strong presence in the legal field. Additionally, Popoola-Taiwo holds membership and active roles in several arbitration organizations, including the German Maritime Arbitration Association, London Court of International Arbitration, and Singapore International Arbitration Centre. With a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ilorin and a Bachelor of Law degree from the Nigerian Law School, Popoola-Taiwo's expertise extends to various legal practices, particularly as a lawyer with the Nigerian Bar Association.
