Kho Hui Meng

President & CEO of Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd. since 1999, Director of Vitol Group of Companies since 2002, Chairman of Viva Energy Holding Pty Ltd., Australia (previously Shell Downstream Australia) since its incorporation in August 2014 and Director of Boustead Petroleum Sdn. Bhd (formerly BP Malaysia) since its establishment.

Joined Vitol in Singapore in 1987 after a career in Esso Singapore (1980-1986) and Diamond Shamrock Singapore (1986-1987). Started career in Vitol Singapore as a trading manager and progressed over the years into the current role as Head of Vitol Group’s Asian and Oceania activities.

Conferred the title “Dato” by the Sultan of Pahang, Malaysia on His Royal Highness’ 74th birthday.

Graduated in 1980 from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST), England with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemical Engineering. Born in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia in 1958.

Married with a son who is currently doing his undergraduate study at Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA.
