Singapore National Eye Centre
Rachel Chong is a skilled ophthalmologist currently serving as the Clinical Lead for the Myopia Glaucoma service and a consultant in the glaucoma department at the Singapore National Eye Centre since March 2018. In addition to clinical practice, Rachel Chong holds the position of Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, focusing on clinical teaching and mentoring medical students in research since January 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Clinician Scientist at the Genome Institute of Singapore, where collaboration with Professor Ng Huck Hui led to the development of human embryonic stem cell-derived organoids for glaucoma research.
