Jonathan Ooi

Jonathan Ooi is an experienced broadcast engineering professional currently serving as Manager of Broadcast Engineering in the Broadcast Ops & Technology division at Singtel since October 2013. Responsibilities include project management that encompasses stakeholder communication, budgeting, resource planning, and documenting operational requirements. Prior to this, Jonathan held positions including Senior Broadcast Engineer at Singtel, Broadcast Engineer at Fox International Channels, and Broadcast Systems Engineer at Astro, where skills in equipment maintenance, system upgrades, and collaboration with vendors were developed. Early career roles included Service/Project Engineer at Dantech PGK Sdn Bhd and Associate Broadcast Systems Engineer at Astro. Jonathan Ooi holds a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from The Nottingham Trent University, UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Computing from KBU International University College, Malaysia.
