Zhongren Ong

Zhongren Ong is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in managing strategic investments and financial performance. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Head of the International Group at Singtel from September 2020 to December 2024, Zhongren oversees a portfolio valued at SGD 45 billion, primarily across Southeast Asia, India, Africa, and Australia, contributing to over 70% of the group's profit. Prior roles include Senior Director of Regional Finance at Singtel, focusing on financial reporting for regional associates, and managerial positions at Far East Organisation and PwC. Zhongren began the career as a Financial Analyst at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and as an Audit Associate at KPMG. Zhongren holds a degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
