Mohamed Irzan

Mohamed Irzan is the current Head of Treasury & Investor Relations at Singer. Mohamed has held this position since November 2015. Prior to that, they were with Regnis (Lanka) PLC from August 2006 to November 2015, where they were Group Factory Controller /Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance. Mohamed was also Company Secretary of Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC and Regnis Lanka PLC, and Alternate Director of Singer Industries (Ceylon) PLC. From February 2002 to August 2006, they were with Singer Industries (Ceylon) Limited as Factory Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Mohamed was also Alternate Director there. Prior to that, they were with Singer (Sri Lanka) Factory Complex from August 1997 to February 2002 as Accountant and Head of Finance at the Factory. Mohamed Irzan started their career with KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton & Co. in January 1993 as an Audit Trainee.

Mohamed Irzan is a FCMA (UK) with a career in accounting and finance from CIMA. Mohamed also has a marketing degree from CIM (UK). Mohamed has a secondary education from St Peters College. Mohamed also has an MBA in marketing from the University of Colombo. Mohamed is certified from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in CIM ACIM Member.

Mohamed Irzan reports to Mahesh Wijewardene, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Viresh Gomes - Head of Financial Services, Vajira Tennakoon - Director, Sales, and Priyanjith Meegoda - Head of Risk Management.
