Lotte Koopman

Lotte Koopman, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in laboratory operations and management. Currently serving as Senior Team Lead Laboratory Operations at Single Cell Discoveries since February 2019, Lotte is dedicated to optimizing laboratory workflows and managing quality systems. Previously, Lotte held the position of Head of Laboratory Operations, contributing to operational efficiency and mentoring staff during the company's transition from start-up to scale-up, and played a significant role in the establishment of laboratory infrastructure as a Laboratory Manager. Lotte's academic background includes a PhD from UMC Utrecht and Hubrecht Institute focused on sudden cardiac death and cardiac arrhythmias, complemented by a Master’s degree in Biology of Disease and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University. Lotte is also advancing skills in project management through an upcoming course at YEARTH Academy.
