Panagiotis Koumantanos

Panagiotis Koumantanos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management, regulatory analysis, and financial services. Currently serving as a Senior Bank Resolution Expert at the Single Resolution Board since February 2020, Panagiotis brings a wealth of knowledge from previous roles, including Senior Product Manager at LCH, where responsibilities included leading regulatory analyses for OTC Rates derivatives and establishing business cases. Prior to that, Panagiotis held significant positions at ISDA, directing the delivery of the ISDA SIMM model while engaging with international regulators, as well as risk management roles at the European Investment Fund and Eurobank, focusing on credit risk and capital management. Educational credentials include an M.B.A. in Business Administration - Financial Management from Athens University of Economics and Business, a Master of Science in Engineering and Project Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
