Jason Cowsill

Jason Cowsill has over 25 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, and application development. In 2021, they were appointed as Director of Product Design at Singlemind. Prior to this, they were VP, User Solutions at Nulia from 2019, where they provided expertise around strengthening client relationships and expanding Nulia's product offerings. From 2006 to 2019, they held various roles at Concentric Sky, including VP of Product, Director of User Experience, and Sr. User Experience Designer. In 2007, they were also a Sr. User Experience Designer at Cengage Learning.

Prior to Concentric Sky, Jason worked at Cerulean Blu as Owner and Creative Director from 2001 to 2006, The Center for Medical Education as Lead Designer from 1996 to 2004, Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP) as Application Developer and Marketing Coordinator from 2004 to 2006, EMSource, LLC as Multimedia and Application Developer from 1996 to 2000, and nuMedica.com, Inc. as Project Manager and Design Lead from 2000 to 2001. In 1995, they started their career as a Graphic and Web Designer at Leba Design Inc., where they provided graphic design, logo ideation and creation, illustration, and website design for clients such as The North Face, Spyder Active Sports, Fila USA, Salomon, Obermeyer, Nordica Skiwear, Sierra Designs, and Couloir.

Jason Cowsill's education history includes a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group in 2016, study of Interactive Digital Media at the Academy of Art University from 1995 to 1997, and Visual Art at the L.A. County High School for the Arts from 1988 to 1990. Jason also holds three additional certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance obtained in March 2017, UX Certificate (Management Speciality) from the Nielsen Norman Group obtained in December 2015, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance obtained in October 2007.
