Ryan Camp

Ryan Camp has a diverse work experience ranging from software engineering to quality inspection.

Ryan started their career as a Lead Quality Inspector and CMM Programmer at REYCO PRECISION, where they led a team in the quality inspection lab, designed CMM programs, and trained quality personnel.

Ryan then transitioned to the field of software development, starting as a student at Turing School of Software & Design. There, they completed a 7-month full-time certified backend program, working on CLI apps and web development projects with a focus on TDD and OOP.

After graduating from Turing School, they worked at Astra Labs as a Software Developer, where they designed and constructed an internal Django API, worked on VueJS for the frontend, and implemented a normalized Postgresql database. Ryan later became the Head of Development at Astra Labs, responsible for planning and executing the software development roadmap and managing development and quality assurance teams.

Currently, Ryan is working at SingleOps as a Software Engineer, contributing to feature development using Rails, React, Grape API, JQuery, SCSS, and Docker. Ryan is involved in designing and implementing automations, leading initiatives to incorporate testing and TDD in the team's workflow, and using PlopJS to enhance the efficiency of the development workflow. Ryan also utilizes Micro Front Ends to develop new features in React and Rails.

Ryan Camp has a diverse education history. In 2011, they started attending Concorde Career Colleges, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technologies. Ryan completed this program in 2013, specializing in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer.

In 2020, Ryan enrolled in the Turing School of Software & Design, focusing on the Backend Program. Ryan obtained a certification in this field.
