Allyn Forsyth

Vice President at Singlera Genomics

Allyn Forsyth has over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. In 1997, they began their career as the Scientific Founder of Elitra Pharmaceuticals. Allyn then moved on to become a Senior Research Fellow at Merck in 2004, where they screened and identified natural products and small molecules antibiotics. In 2005, they became the Senior Director of Research and Development at GHC Technologies. Allyn then moved on to become the Director of Research and Development at Cellpoint Diagnostics in 2006, and the Senior Director R&D at ICXT in 2007. In 2010, they became the Director of Research and Development at FLIR Detection. In 2019, they became the Senior Business Development Partner & Principal at Samorn Biosciences, where they contributed to Orphan Drug applications, INDs, study protocols, CSRs and white papers. Allyn also took on strategic publication planning and project management. In 2015, they became the Vice President at Singlera Genomics Incorporated /GeneticPrime Dx, where they delivered personalized medicine for cancer, prenatal testing and infectious diseases using proprietary targeted Next-Gen sequencing methods. In 2021, they became the Director at MiMedx.

Allyn Forsyth received a BS in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Afterwards, they went on to obtain a PhD in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics from San Diego State University. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego.
