Alex Sheffield

Alex Sheffield is currently the Delivery Lead at SingleStone. Prior to that, they were the Senior Project Manager at RS21, where they led teams of designers, data scientists, data engineers, and software developers from concept discovery to deployment of software, supporting clients in all of RS21's portfolios. Alex has also worked as a Project Manager at ABS Group, where they managed USCG's transition of their desktop-based maritime security risk analysis model to an enterprise, web-based tool; co-facilitated and created content for multiple annual training sessions to the USCG's port security specialists; and led a cross-organizational team through development of some of the earliest iterations of FEMA's National Risk Index. Before that, Alex participated in the Harvard Career Discovery Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Alex Sheffield received their Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics-Engineering from Washington and Lee University. In addition, Sheffield has a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University. Sheffield is also certified by LitheSpeed as a Certified Scrum Product Owner and by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.
