Yap Chee Keong

Chee Keong is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Singlife with Aviva.

Chee Keong is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Olam International, Sembcorp Industries, Shangri-La Asia, Ensign Infosecurity, Mediacorp, and Pacific International Lines.

He was the Executive Director of The Straits Trading Company Limited and the Chief Financial Officer of the Singapore Power Group and had worked in various senior management roles in multinational and listed companies. He was also previously a board member of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and a member of the Public Accountants Oversight Committee. He was also a member of the workgroup comprising ACRA, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and Singapore Exchange (SGX) to review the guidebook for audit committees in Singapore and a member of the review panel comprising the MAS, SGX, ACRA, and Singapore Institute of Directors to develop a guide for board risk committees in Singapore.

Chee Keong holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the National University of Singapore and is a fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and CPA Australia.
