Tom Wilson

Tom Wilson is an experienced internal audit and risk management professional with a strong background in financial and operational audits and fraud risk management. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit at Optus since May 2011, Tom is responsible for the planning and delivery of the internal audit program, as well as conducting internal fraud investigations and developing prevention programs. Prior to Optus, Tom worked as an independent contractor focused on risk and internal audit issues, and held significant roles at AAPT Limited as Head of Risk & Audit, and KPMG Australia as Director. Tom's experience includes advising on risk management, managing audit processes, and enhancing accountability in audit functions. Tom holds a Graduate Certificate in Management Studies from The University of Waikato and a BA in Accounting from the University of Exeter.
