Cong Chen

Cong Chen has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Cong began their career in 2007 with an internship at Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd. Cong then worked as a Research Assistant at Louisiana State University from 2009 to 2015, followed by a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the same university from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, Cong Chen joined Penn State University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and worked there until 2018. In 2018, they transitioned to the industry and became the Manager of Business Development at Sino Biological, Inc. Cong held this role until 2020.

Cong Chen then assumed the position of Regional Manager of Technical Support and CRO Services at Sino Biological, Inc. from 2021 to 2021. Subsequently, they became a Senior Manager at the same company from 2022 to 2022. Currently, Cong Chen is the Head of Sales, US West at Sino Biological, Inc.

Cong Chen's education history begins in 2004 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Jiangnan University. They then pursued further education and from 2009 to 2011, obtained a Master's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Louisiana State University. Following this, Cong Chen attended Louisiana State University again from 2011 to 2014 and successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. In 2016, they continued their education as a post-doc at Penn State-University Park, specializing in Biomedical/Medical Engineering until 2018.
