Rob Burgess

Rob Burgess has extensive experience in the biotechnology and research industries. Rob currently serves as the Chief Business Officer at Sino Biological Inc. since March 2019. Prior to this role, they were the President of PanoHealth, LLC from June 2015 to February 2019. Rob also held the position of Vice President, Global Business Development at RayBiotech, Inc. from December 2011 to February 2019.

In addition to their industry experience, Rob has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas at Dallas. Rob held roles in both the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science, as well as the Department of Biological Sciences.

Earlier in their career, Rob held various leadership positions in business development and research and development. Furthermore, they held the role of President at Genome BioSciences from 2002 to 2003.

Rob Burgess obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin, from 1987 to 1991. Rob then pursued their Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 1991 to 1995.
