Amir Farahani has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Amir is the Co-Founder of SINOM since September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Chalmers University of Technology as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Digital Property Management with a focus on sustainability from June 2019 to September 2021. Amir also served as a PhD candidate in Data-driven Maintenance Planning from a Life Cycle Perspective at the same university from June 2014 to June 2019. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Pedagogue at Vittra Lidingö and prior to that, they worked as an Energy and Climate Specialist at Swind from July 2013 to February 2014. Amir's earliest work experience was as a Project Manager at NPJ Co. from March 2006 to December 2006.

Amir Farahani has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Amir obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2006. Amir then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Putra Malaysia, graduating in 2010. Following this, they furthered their studies by completing a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2013. Amir's pursuit of knowledge did not stop there, as they went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Building Technology from Chalmers University of Technology in 2019. Overall, Amir has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and a continual drive for learning in the engineering field.
