Derek Wong

Derek Wong has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Derek served as the Vice President for Sinopec Canada, providing strategic oversight and guidance for oil sands and joint venture assets. Derek was also a Director at Triple Nine Resources Ltd., DCW Corporation, and Syncrude Canada Ltd. At Syncrude, Derek held roles such as Director, Aurora Support Equipment Senior Area Leader, Business Advisor, and Process Engineer. Derek was involved in cost reduction initiatives, project portfolio management, and operational support. Additionally, Derek was the Vice President at Cedarwoods Condominium Corporation and served as President at Signal Hill Condominium Corporation.

From 2000 to 2005, Derek Wong attended The University of British Columbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
