Perry Roney

Perry Roney is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax management and clean energy initiatives. Currently serving as the Manager of Tax and Clean Energy at Sinopec Canada since December 2018, Perry leads the tax team and the Clean Energy Task Force, focusing on emission management and corporate change. Prior to Sinopec Canada, Perry was the General Manager of Tax & Treasury at Black Diamond Group, overseeing taxation and treasury functions across multiple jurisdictions. Additional roles include Tax Manager positions at Black Diamond Group and Cenovus Energy, where Perry managed various tax-related responsibilities, including compliance and audits. Earlier experience includes senior roles at KPMG Canada and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Perry holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the Haskayne School of Business.
