Tina Tao

Tina Tao is the current President and Partner at Sinovation Ventures. Prior to this, they served as Chief of Staff at Google China from November 2005 to August 2008. Tina was responsible for the daily operation of Google China. From June 2003 to October 2005, they worked as Stategy and Operation in the Software Division of Greater China at IBM. At Microsoft from October 1996 to June 2003, Tina was in charge of marketing various products including Windows, NT, Office, and Windows Mobile. Tina also handled corporate marketing tasks such as event management, marketing intelligence, database marketing, web marketing, and customer support. Tina began their career at Acer China in January 1994 as a Product Manager for desktop and laptop computers.

Tina Tao has an MBA from Yale School of Management and a Master's in Information Science from Peking University. Tina has worked in general management, marketing, and investment.

Tina Tao works with Hao Xiong - Executive Director, Bob Ren - Executive Director, and Will Xie - Operating Partner. Tina Tao reports to Kai-Fu Lee, Chairman and CEO.
