Nuzhat Tam-Zaman

Nuzhat Tam-Zaman, Ph.D, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Nuzhat currently serves as an Activator at SheEO™, a global community supporting women-led ventures through a perpetual fund. Prior to this, they were the Co-Chair of the Canada Bangladesh Joint Working Group. In 2018, they held the position of Co-Chair and Board Member at BioAlberta. Additionally, they served as a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Hyasynth Bio in 2017. Dr. Tam-Zaman's entrepreneurial journey began in 2006 when they co-founded SinoVeda Canada Inc. and served as the VP of Consumer Health. With a background in Pharmaceutical Science, they bring a wealth of expertise to their various roles.

Nuzhat Tam-Zaman Ph.D pursued their B.Pharm and M.Pharm (with a thesis) in Pharmacy from the University of Dhaka, where they studied from 1980 to 1988. Afterward, they attended the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta, from 1989 to 1995, to obtain their Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics.
