Natascha Castelein

Natascha Castelein is a skilled professional in the field of chemistry and biomedical sciences, currently serving as a Chemistry Teacher at Sint-Janscollege and EDUGO Oostakker since 2017. In addition to teaching, Natascha has been conducting independent fundamental research as a post-doctoral researcher at VIB since 2014, focusing on cell death and metabolism, energy metabolism, biochemistry, and respirometry. Natascha completed a PhD at Ghent University in September 2013, where research examined the genetics and biochemistry of longevity in Caenorhabditis elegans, and holds both a Master of Science and a Licentiate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Ghent University.
